High school teenager, Jill Johnson (Camilla Belle), is babysitting to earn money for her expensive cell phone bill that her parents refuse to pay for. While she is at the home of the rich family she is babysitting for she receives chilling phone calls from an anonymous caller (Tommy Flanagan). The caller makes threats towards the children. She thinks it is a friend playing a prank on her. She calls the police to report the calls and they instruct her to keep the caller on the line as long as she can so that they can trace the call. Jill soon learns that the calls are coming from inside the very same house she is babysitting in. She wants to get the children and get out of the house. But it may not be that easy.
